Methodology

Assalamualaikum.



This week we had been given a small task about Methodology.

So our lovely Miss Khairunnisha had already mention about Methodology in class (as she always has) and remind us to come looking for it for the next week class.

Okay Fine.

We did Googled and did our best to find about the methodologies and stuff. And for all it's worth Ayu's had printed some and we manage to go to class that day feeling all bubbly. But you know what, we had encountered such an embarrassing experience that day read : EPIC FAILURE with our small task. So we had been asked to write about our understanding in methodology, and guess who volunteered? That's right ! ME . Although that was not the worst part either ( we got it wrong when Miss Lovely Nisha checked it ) but surprisingly, it feels amazing. Thanks MIss Nisha for correcting us !

Hey Yo Assignment


Continue with the sixth week of this semester,as usual our class still be held in a library and at the same time we were given a new group project...and the submission date is in week 9.

wow!!and this group project required us to act as an organisation and come out with our new thought as a company.

honestly, I was quite blur at the beginning but luckily as my group mates was so helpful, we manage to finish it together and submitted it on time.

in this assignment,we have to act as an organisation and come out with our ideas to be a successful organisation. Hence,we were needed to come out with the ideas to make sure our organisation is going through smoothly. 

We chose Albukhary International University (ehem, ours) for the assignment. My group mates and I (Wawa. Ayu and Ma Shiuang Jiao ) struggle so hard to finish the assignment. One thing I learnt from this task is that to complete assignment this hard is so impossible without help from my lovely group mates. I hope we manage to get the grade we want INSYAALLAH .

Information Technology (again and again)

Assalamualaikum Miss Nisha ! Read this !

Although we still in this topic,but this time,we put more focus on the function of IS and its types.firstly,there are 3 levels of information system.it had been transformed as a pyramid and the bottom one consist of transaction processing system while  decision support system and management information system and the upper part is conquered by executive support system. 
to be honest,actually all this term made me got headache...(hahaha,since I am not really good in ICT). but as far as I concern..i'll try my best to gain my understanding on all this topic.nothing much can i say about this week lesson as I am still blur with it.but as time goes,hope I can deal with it.

in the same week also,as we gonna sit for our exam,my lecturer had given us some exercise that enough to gain my understanding on this topic. I think from all the outline for this topic,I am interested to the sub-topic  about Management Information System.the role is to provide the right information to the right person in the right format at the right time.

MIS also:-
•Allow users to develop their own custom reports
•Use Internal data stored in computer system
•Require user requests for reports developed by systems personnel
•Provide reports with fixed and standard formats  


MIS also including management system,inventory control system,budgeting system,management reporting system and HRM system.

Information System (IS)

Assalamualaikum Miss Nisha :3

This week, things got pretty tensed up with class. Since all the whole "oven incident" last week, this week we continue our class in Library. 

Another funny story.

Class started at 8.30 that morning, so me any my classmates decided to take our breakfast together that lovely morning, with the gust of wind come floating on our cheeks, and that instant T thought with my classmate, 'Okay, totally worth waking up in a lovely morning like this one". And shortly after that, we went to ICT building and there they were, G8 group mates come sprinting , I repeat , sprinting towards the dining hall. When asked, they said we already finished their class. And I was like !@#$%^&*. Funny right !?

OK, so this is what we learnt that week.

So,this week as we already in week 4,we learnt about Information System(IS) which is defined as a combination of hardware,software,infrastructure and trained personnel organized to facilitate planning,control,coordination and decision making in an organisation.IS triangle consist of business,people and information technology.

IT are used to built IS. And the examples of IS are payroll system,marketing system,customer service system and inventory system. IS including  people,telecommunication,software,hardware,database and procedure while component of information system consists of business,management,IT,development and foundation.

Information and Communication Technology

Assalamualaikum. 


Funny story. We were technically in an oven ! Actually, the air-conditioner in our ICT lab had gone totally ballistic. No one know what's wrong, but the temperature was almost 100c . Okay, I am exaggerating. Anyway, even in that condition we still give our best and concentrate in the awesome subject. So, where were we ? 


Oh yes.



 information and communications technology (ICT). ICT is concerned with the used of technology in managing and processing information.

these enable the processing and storage of enormous amounts of information,along with rapid distribution of information through communication networks. ICT management is divided to ICT resource management,ICT service management and ICT governance.

ICT is used in our daily life such as banking,business,healthcare,science,education,government etc.ICT expand access in education and raise education quality among.ICT also improve the banks' image and leads to a wider,faster and more efficient market besides increase participation of citizens in government decisions and actions and improved public sector performance:changing way of doing business in government.

We have some in-class activity about this topic. My group mate is Ahmed, Nazokat, Dolma and Hussain. We revealed and present about the Information and Communication Technology in Medical in Syria. We discuss and searched for the in for the information on Google, Ahmed did an awesome attribute to the group. Well, silly me, of course he is, he's Syrian  ! Anyhow, I contributed by drawing all the devices used in Medical in Syria. It was pretty cool and my thought is that I did a good job in my group.

Information Technology

Assalamualaikum wbt. 

This week, I learn about Information Technology. So basically IT had been divided into two   IT has been divided into IT architecture and IT infrastructure. IT Architecture is to ensure the alignment of information and communications technology to business strategy. it is also used to explain and guide how an organization’s IT and information management elements work together to efficiently accomplish the mission of the organization.


   On the other hand,IT infrastructure is the physical hardware used to interconnect computers and users including the transmission media, telephone lines, cable television lines, and satellites and antennas and also the routers, aggregators, repeaters, and other devices that control transmission paths. It also includes the software used to send,receive and manage the signals that are transmitted.In some usages, infrastructure refers to interconnecting hardware and software and not to computers and other devices that are interconnected. However, to some information technology users, infrastructure is viewed as everything that supports the flow and processing of information.


 The advance of IT made the globalization happened. Globalization is defined as the integration and interdependence of economic,social,culture, and ecological facets of life. globalization 1.0 start from 1492-1800, globalization 2.0(1800-2000) and globalization 3.0(2000 to the present).

#week 1 : Introduction to Information and Technology

Assalamualaikum.


The trimester was just started again, and I went to the class with all new resolution and stuff. When all the nice little children sit down, the lesson begin, just like that, we were given our first assignment. Unbelievable? But that's what happen. Anyway, we were given a task about how to differentiate between information and data, I am pretty sure I did pretty well on the first day, well, what could I say? Stating the obvious. 


So technically, information is an ordered sequence of symbols that can be interpreted as a message. Information can be recorded as signs, or transmitted as signals. Information is any kind of event that affects the state of a dynamic system. Conceptually, information is the message (utterance or expression) being conveyed. This concept has numerous other meanings in different contexts. (courtesy of wikipedia)


Data are values of a qualitative or quantitative variables, belonging to a set of items. Data in computing (or data processing) are often represented by a combination of items organized in rows and multiple variables organized in columns. Data are typically the results of measurements and can be visualised using graphs or images. (again, courtesy of wikipedia)


In a nutshell, it was pretty interesting to find out about the thing about the 'information and data' because it was pretty awesome. kbye
